The collaboration carried out by FMIPA includes government institutions, the private sector, community institutions both at home and abroad. The collaboration is carried out in the form of sending student internships, research and service places for lecturers and students, organizing seminars, guest lectures, workshops. In order to implement and improve partnerships with domestic and foreign institutions, the Environmental Sciences Study Program collaborates with institutions such as cooperation between universities, cooperation with district/city governments, collaboration with research centers, institutions in the health sector and the private sector. The partners who have a cooperative relationship with the Environmental Science Undergraduate Study Program include, among others, 22 parties according to LKPS data. Partner institutions that have established this collaboration include IALHI (Indonesian Environmental Experts Association), PEPSILI (Association of Environmental Science Study Programs), KLHK (Ministry of Environment and Forestry), PT Jasa Tirta Energi, Taiwan Corner, LPTP (Institute for Rural Technology Development). Surakarta), Banten Hospital, UNS Hospital, Center for Leather, Rubber and Plastics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences USU, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNRI, Air Force Academy, PT Kimia Farma, Naturafit Herbal, RS. PKU Surakarta, Institute of Pharmacy Puske TNI AD, PT Phapros, RSUD Sragen, and PT Ifars. The results of the collaboration are in the form of scholarships, Student Internship Lectures, survey sites and data collection for research and final projects, implementation of community service, expert lectures, workshops, training, and Forum Group Discussions (FGD).
In order to implement and improve partnerships with foreign institutions, the Environmental Science Study Program actively succeeds in the internationalization program that has been designed by UNS. The forms of activities that have been carried out by the Environmental Science Study Program include the Taiwan Corner regarding sending lecturer delegations. This collaboration is valid for 5 years starting from the signing of the MoU on April 14, 2016 until April 13, 2021. From the partnership collaboration with Taiwan Corner, the Environmental Science Undergraduate Study Program can send lecturer staff, namely Aru Dewangga to Taiwan in 2018. the relationship and network of cooperation between the Environmental Science undergraduate study program and the Taiwan Corner.
