FMIPA UNS – A lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta received an award as the most productive inventor and creator at the university level in the patent category. He is, Dr. eng. Hendri Widiyandari, S.Si., M.Sc., a lecturer at the Physics Study Program, FMIPA UNS. The award was handed over directly by the Chancellor of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum at the 46th UNS Anniversary commemoration ceremony at the dr. Prakosa on Thursday (10/3/2022).

Hendri himself did not expect to get the most productive award in this patent field. However, he expressed his gratitude to the team, fellow lecturers and students who have worked smart, thoroughly and sincerely so that he managed to get the award. Because they are aware that what has been received is not their own work, but teamwork.

“I didn’t expect to get the most productive award in the patent field, hopefully this award will be an encouragement for me personally to continue working,” said Hendri when contacted by the mipa.uns.ac.id team shortly after the award was given.

Don’t forget Hendri also advised to work, create and don’t forget to be happy. Regarding the awards he has received, Hendri encourages anyone to provide protection for inventions or inventions in the form of patents, copyrights, brands and others.

“I think it is important for us to provide protection for our findings or inventions, in the form of filing patents, copyrights, trademarks and others,” concluded Hendri. [MnR/MIPA].
