FMIPA UNS – The Alumni Family of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Sebelas Maret (KAFMIPA UNS) held the Launching of Teras Solusi, Alumni Hub Program, and Alumni Calling Program on Saturday (26/03/2022). Events are held offline and online. Offline is held at the UNS FMIPA Alumni Building while online via the UNS MIPA Faculty youtube channel and the Zoom cloud meeting application. This event was held at noon starting at 13.00 WIB to 15.30 WIB and was attended by several invitees including the Dean and Deputy Dean of FMIPA UNS, Head of Study Programs in the UNS FMIPA Environment, Central IKA UNS Management, UNS KAFMIPA Management and several other invited guests.
The inauguration of Teras Solusi, Alumni Hub Program, and Alumni Calling Program were marked by ribbon cutting by the Dean of FMIPA, Drs. Harjana, M.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D. and the General Chairperson of KAFMIPA, Imam Bustomi, S.Si., M.M. In his speech, the Dean hopes that with the alumni building and the inauguration of this alumni hub, it can connect three main things, namely being an administrative center for alumni, a center for student creativity, and a center for cadre of students to continue to develop by producing maximum productivity. Besides that, it is also able to create graduates according to the wishes of their parents, become a building that can create nostalgia for campus, and provide solutions for everyone who comes.

The event continued with a talk show featuring two outstanding speakers, namely Imam Bustomi, S.Si., M.M. (Director of Marketing of PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental and General Chairperson of KAFMIPA UNS) and Paiman, S.Si. (President Director of PT Double Network International as well as General Chairperson of the Alumni Family Foundation, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNS). This talkshow carries the theme “Alumni Calling: Alumni and Campus Steps to Form a Synergic MIPA”.
The discussion on the talk show was very interesting because it discussed the name Teras Solusi proposed by Imam Bustomi. Imam wants solutions on the terrace to create a happy and comfortable atmosphere, so that when they arrive they will be lazy to move, what they do is work and discuss to produce or provide solutions.
Meanwhile, Paiman also explained the concept of Alumni Calling, where this program aims to call back alumni to participate in building the alma mater which is expected to build collaboration between students and alumni to be able to create extraordinary new ideas. This is strongly supported by the faculty, as stated by the Dean of FMIPA UNS, that the Alumni Building is a facility that can be used by all students and alumni.
