FMIPA UNS – The excitement was seen at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta from the large number of education staff and lecturers who were present on the first day of work after the Eid holiday 1443 H., Monday (9/5/2022). This indicates that the Ramadan worship which has been carried out for one month has left its mark, including practicing discipline.
By shaking hands, asking and apologizing among the leadership and academics when they meet each other. So that there is no longer a bad feeling between them, what is there is a sense of togetherness and kinship. In working, they will synergize with each other and maintain harmony with each other, to improve self and institutional performance.
Met on the sidelines of friendship with lecturers and employees, the Dean of FMIPA, Drs. Harjana, M.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D expressed his gratitude to the lecturers and education staff who were present on the first day of work. This indicates that FMIPA lecturers and education staff have complied with the rules set by the government for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to enter work in accordance with applicable regulations.
“We hope that after today, what has been done during the month of Ramadan, including about discipline and sincerity, can have an impact on the performance of the lecturers and education staff. That way, it is hoped that the performance of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences will be better than last year,” said the Dean.
Also present among the faculty and staff of FMIPA were University leaders, in this case represented by the Vice Chancellor for Academics and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Yunus, M.S. who was impressed by the excitement of the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty. “Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences is very lively with many lecturers and education staff who are present after the Eid holiday and one month of fasting,” said Prof. Yunus.
“We hope that after our hearts are clean and we forgive each other and the sins that have been forgiven by Allah SWT, we can do our work with better togetherness and kinship. Synergize with one another and maintain harmony with each other,” concluded Prof. Yunus. [MnR/MIPA]
